(she/her)
Arts Therapist (AThR). Multi Media Artist.
Tēnā koe, I’m Tayla (she/her), a registered arts therapist who is deeply committed to walking alongside my clients as they embark on their creative and healing journeys. I support people aged 5-35* in 1:1 and group settings.
I am passionate about community wellbeing, mental health and creativity. I strive to provide affirming therapy to rainbow and neurodivergent folks.
I have been privileged to work with a diverse groups of folks across mental health, disability, youth and recently in a primary health setting. My experience includes community support work, health coaching, and 4 years experience of therapeutically supporting rangatahi. My practice is grounded in creating a safe, inclusive, and uplifting space where I hope you can freely express yourself through artistic exploration. I blend evidence-based brief talking therapies and arts psychotherapy in a way that honours individual needs and goals of a therapeutic process.
I work collaboratively with strengths and aspirations. In our time together, you will be supported to navigate challenges, celebrate breakthroughs and use the arts to explore your inner world.
